Cumbria Medical Training - Courses

Theses courses are active and informative training sessions that can be adapted to suit a variety of audiences, from the complete novice to those who are skilled but need a refresher. Audiences range from health care providers such as nurses, dentists and doctors to students and other allied health professionals.

Basic Life Support Resuscitation training normally takes up to two hours and includes the necessary theory, followed by lots of practical “hands – on” sessions. These active and informative training sessions are run to be realistic and relevant in relation to your work place and thought provoking.

All training is in line with the up to date Resuscitation Council Guidelines (UK).

The syllabus covers;
The Theory of Resuscitation
Incident Management
Basic Life Support
Recovery Position
Choking Management
And or the Use of the Automated External Defibrillator

Individuals are measured by means of continuous assessment and candidates are awarded certificates, which are valid for one year.
